Letter Campaign

These letters were received from U.S. Catholic Bishops, Catholic hospitals, and Catholic officials in response to a request to stop non-therapeutic circumcisions at U.S. Catholic hospitals. The vast majority of Bishops and Catholic hospitals failed to respond to the letters sent to them. The untold story for any discerning reader is the way the Vatican said to contact the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, a Bishop said to contact the Catholic Health Association, the Catholic Health Association said they don’t decide such matters, the National Review Board said to contact the Bishops or the Office of Child and Youth Protection, the Office of Child and Youth Protection said this doesn’t fall under their mandate, and so on and so on. Catholic hospitals refer this to their Ethics Committees, and then no one does anything to correct the situation.
